PRINTS!
Oh. My. Gosh.
I don’t know what’s more difficult, painting or creating prints! It is definitely not as easy as ‘scan and print’. There is a lot of software, products, materials and know how that goes in to making an art print that is archival, beautiful and high end. Thankfully, after many hours pulling my hair out, I’ve got a lovely system in place here in my studio where I can make and sell gorgeous prints!
I’ve decided to sell my landscape prints on Hahnmühle canvas printing paper. There are a few reasons for this:
The texture of the paper is similar to the original texture of the canvas artwork
There are more options for framing canvas prints
My watercolour works and limited edition prints will remain on my favourite Ilford Textured Cotton Rag Paper - it’s thick, lightly textured and natural white - gorgeous.
I’m still in the process of updating the Print shop with these new prints. BUT in the mean time they are all available in specially curated gift sets, making them affordable and perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
I can’t wait to see how these are received and which set is your favourite!
