Wisdom from Grandad

My grandad said something the other day that I loved and had a little laugh at. He said ‘I was in the choir, until I started singing’. 🤣

He was being factual, he literally tried to sing and got kicked out straight away, told he was tone deaf by the choir master. Poor grandad. What stood out to me though, was that concept of how we can dream and plan till the cows come home, but it’s not until we actually do the thing, that we find out whether we a) like it and b) are any good at it.

We all reach this point along the way where we have to leap in. We will either grow wings or deploy the parachute, but both options are far better than letting fear cage us.

What is in your heart is in there for a reason - any failures along the way are simply lessons guiding you to where you need to go.
